Bioakustik ist eines der wichtigen Felder verhaltens- und evolutionsbiologischer Forschung. Ziel und Inhalt des Praktikums ist es, Methoden der bioakustischen Analyse kennen zu lernen und anzuwenden. Neben den technischen Aspekten der Synthetisierung and parametrischen Analyse von Signalen werden auch experimentelle Aspekte Gegenstand des Kurses sein. Dazu werden evtl. auch Playbackversuche an Tieren durchgeführt. Es wird auch untersucht werden, wie sich akustische Signale im Freiland mit der Entfernung verändern, um so Rück-schlüsse auf Anpassungen von Signalen an die Umweltbedingungen zu ermöglichen. Leistungsnachweise: Ergebnisberichte, Abschlussprotokoll oder Poster. [Lf: j; 50: n; Fs: n]
