Anhand der Methoden und Erkenntnisse Rudolf Arnheims behandelt das Kompaktseminar Wege zur Betrachtung und Analyse von Bildern. Sein Ansatz wird anhand von Bildbeispielen nachvollzogen und diskutiert.
Arnheim verdeutlicht in seiner Schrift "Kunst und Sehen" seinen psychologischen Ansatz der Kunstbetrachtung. An einfachen Beispielen beleuchtet er dort kritisch das Wechselspiel von Form und Farbe, Raum und Licht, Bewegung und Gleichgewicht. Die Lektüre des Buches vor Beginn des Seminars wird dringend empfohlen. Mehrere Exemplare sind in der Bibliothek verfügbar.
