Die Veranstaltung dient der allgemeinen Orientierung zwischen den verschiedenen berufsfeldbezogenen Profilen des Kernfachs Mathematik mit der Ausrichtung Didaktik der Mathematik und unterstützt die Studierenden bei der Wahl eines der angebotenen Studienprofile. Die inhaltliche Planung erfolgt in Abstimmung mit den Studierenden in der ersten Veranstaltung am 11.10.2004.

Die Veranstaltung wendet sich an Studienanfänger des Bachelors Mathematik mit der Studienrichtung Didaktik der Mathematik mit dem Kernfach Mathematik, die als Nebenfach nicht zugleich Erziehungswissenschaften gewählt haben.
