In der Vorlesung werden die mathematischen Grundlagen des Zählens und Rechnens mit Zahlen vorgestellt. Nach der Beschreibung der natürlichen Zahlen durch die Axiome von Peano und der rekursiven Definition der elementaren Rechenoperationen werden deren Gesetzmäßigkeiten abgeleitet.
Die darauffolgende Erweiterung des Zahlbereichs der natürlichen Zahlen zum Bereich der ganzen Zahlen und dem Bereich der rationalen Zahlen wird abgerundet durch strukturelle Vergleiche dieser Zahlbereiche.Literatur:
