Die Organisationen der Künste: Theater, Museum, Ausstellung
Im Themenzuschnitt des Seminars kreuzen sich zwei gesellschaftliche Entwicklungslinien, die beide für sich als zentral für die Moderne angesehen werden: die Ausdifferenzierung eines autonomen Systems der Künste und die Durchorganisierung der funktional differenzierten Gesellschaft. Der mit der Autonomie verknüpfte Anspruch auf eine unbedingte Orginalität des Kunstwerkes scheint zunächst jeder Möglichkeit einer organisierten Produktion und Distribution zu widersprechen. Das Seminar verfolgt dagegen die Frage, ob nicht gerade die fragile Autonomie der Künste in vielfältiger Weise auf die Fähigkeiten des Organisierens angewiesen bleibt und so erst gewährleistet wird. Verschiedene Organisationsformen von und für Kunst sollen auf diesen Funktionszusammenhang hin diskutiert werden.
