In diesem Literaturseminar werden anhand aktueller Arbeiten aus dem Bereich der Signaltransduktion bei Pflanzen Mechanismen der Genregulation besprochen. Dazu gehören beispielsweise micro RNAs oder die Regulation der Aktivität und Lokalisierung von Transkriptionsfaktoren. Ziel des Seminars ist die eigenständige Auseinandersetzung mit englischsprachiger Originalliteratur. Es werden unterschiedliche Darstellungsformen wissenschaftlicher Arbeiten in Fachzeitschriften vorgestellt. Textverständnis, kritische Auseinandersetzung mit den Daten und Methoden sowie deren Aufarbeitung und Präsentation werden vermittelt und bei der Erstellung eines eigenen Vortrags angewandt.
