Mit der Intention, so schnell wie möglich zum Spiel zu kommen, sollen auf der Basis spielgemäßer Konzepte das Sportspiel Hockey kennengelernt werden. Dabei werden Bewegungserfahrungen im Hallenhockey vermittelt. Am Ende der Veranstaltung sollen die TeilnehmerInnen die wettkampfgemäße Form des Hallenhockeys in der Grobform beherrschen und fähig sein, ein Spiel regelgerecht zu leiten.
Dazu werden die Grundtechniken und taktischen Grundfertigkeiten in Spielreihen und in begleitender Übungsreihen vermittelt.

Neben der regelmäßigen Teilnahme wird von jedem Studierenden die Anfertigung eines Stundenprotokolls sowie die Konzeption und Durchführung eines Aufwärmprogramms für die Gruppe erwartet.
