Unter "Globalem Lernen" verstehen wir ein ganzheitliches Konzept der Bildungsarbeit, das in seiner Umsetzung darauf abzielt, unsere Existenz im
Horizont der "Einen Welt" zu reflektieren und jene Kompetenzen zu entwickeln, die wir für eine zukunftsfähige Gestaltung der Welt brauchen.Globales Lernen ist die Hinführung zum persönlichen Urteilen und Handeln in globaler Perspektive auf allen Stufen der Bildungsarbeit.
In diesem Seminar wollen wir die Entstehung und die Besonderheiten dieses pädagogischen Ansatzes beleuchten und in Übungseinheiten erproben. U.a. folgende praktische Beispiele aus der Bildungsarbeit werden vorgestellt und diskutiert: "Coltan-Projekt" des Welthaus Bielefeld, "Rivers of Life" von Art at Work und "SATT" des Filmhaus Bielefeld.
