Plants make up the majority of the earth's living environment as trees, grases, flowers etc. Directly or indirectly, plants also make up all the food on which humans and all animals depend. In their natual environment plants are confronted with different microbes. While some interactions are benificial (e.g. the Rhizobium symbiosis), are others fatal to the plant. The seminar "Molecular Phytopathology" deals with recent developments in the field of plantmicrobe interactions. The focus is on new original publications. The seminar is planned for students who plan to do a diploma thesis in this field. [Lf: n; 50: n; Fs: n]
