In der Veranstaltung werden die wesentlichen bevölkerungsstatistischen Methoden vermittelt, deren Kenntnis zur Analyse und Prognose demographischer Prozesse und des demmographischen Wachstums erforderlich ist. Die Verfahren werden anhand zahlreicher Beispiele aus aktuellen empirischen Untersuchungen und der amtlichen Bevölkerungsstatistik dargestellt.
