Filme prägen mit ihren Geschichten und Figuren das Aufwachsen, indem sie Vorbilder und Handlungsmuster bereitstellen, normative Standards transportieren, aber auch 'Ankerpunkte' biogafischer Konstruktion liefern. So besitzen in Kindheitserinnerungen etwa bestimmte Filme oder Filmgeschichten große Bedeutung, weil mit ihnen vielfältige Erinnerungen und Stimmungslagen verbunden sind. Durchgeführt wird diese Veranstaltung als Block; und erwartet wird von den Teilnehmer/innen, dass sie sich in der Vorbesprechung aktiv an der Filmauswahl beteiligen.
