Ziel dieses Seminars ist es, physiologische und anatomische Grundlagen zu erarbeiten und deren Bedeutung für trainingswissenschaftliche Fragestellungen darzustellen. Diese beziehen sich sowohl auf die im Körper stattfindenden Adaptationsvorgänge als auch auf die Optimierung und Steuerung leistungsabhängiger Parameter. Unter besonderer Berücksichtigung des Herz-Kreislaufsystems, der Lungenfunktion, des Stoffwechsels und des Energieumsatzes werden Zusammenhänge zum Verständnis leistungsbestimmender und leistungsbegrenzender Faktoren erörtert.
Des weiteren werden in diesem Seminar die Besonderheiten des kindlichen und jugendlichen Organismus angesprochen, die bei der Planung und Durchführung des Trainings bzw. des Sportunterrichtes zu beachten sind.
Bei erfolgreichem Abschluss dieses Seminars mittels einer Klausur, wird diese als Leistungsnachweis für den AB I angerechnet
