Contents, comment

This course is designed to develop students' writing skills in order to allow them to compose texts relevant to their academic and professional needs. The following text types will be covered:

Summary of a text from a magazine or journal or an academic text
Essay (exam essay) or review (as needed)
Abstract of an academic text
CV and cover letter

Students will learn how to produce these texts, working with style sheets, handling punctuation and where to find writing help on the Internet.

Course requirements:

  • Regular attendance and preparation
  • Production of all of the text types mentioned above; all 4 formats will be graded

Graded course certificate, 3 credit points
