Die Vorlesung umfasst die Gebiete
- Einheitensysteme
- Grundlagen der Ähnlichkeitslehre
- Strömungslehre und Reologie
- Grundlagen der Wärmeübertragung
- Trennprozesse mechanisch: Sedimentation, Filtration, Membrantrennverfahren
- Trennprozesse physiko-chemisch: Adsorption, Desorption, Chromatographie, Extraktion
- Trennprozesse thermisch: Destillation
- Grundlagen der Steriltechnik.
Am Ende der Vorlesung wird eine Exkursion durchgeführt, bei der ein biotechnologischer Gesamtprozess demonstriert wird.
