Die Vorlesung Neuronale Netze II ist die Fortsetzung der Vorlesung vom WS 02/03. Schwerpunkte bilden diejenigen Themen, die in der letzten Vorlesung nicht behandelt werden konnten wie Kohonen-Netze, Vektorquantisierung, LLM-Netze, rekurrente Netze, Zeitreihenvorhersage, neuronale Regler, Support Vector Machines, Neurononengase und Assoziativspeicher.
Dabei werden häufig Beispiele aus der Mustererkennung herangezogen, um praktische Aspekte wie Vorverarbeitung, Merkmalselektion, Techniken zur Konvergenzbeschleunigung und Wahl einer geeigneten Netzarchitektur zu illustrieren.
Die Vorlesung wendet sich an Studierende des Hauptstudiums, insbesondere mit Vertiefungsrichtung Mustererkennung und Robotik.
