Behandelt werden die wesentlichen wirtschaftsstrafrechtlichen Tatbestände des StGB: Geldwäsche, Computerbetrug, Subventionsbetrug, Kapitalanlagebetrug, Versicherungsmissbrauch, Kreditbetrug, Vorenthalten und Veruntreuen von Arbeitsentgelt, Täuschung im Rechtsverkehr bei Datenverarbeitung, die Konkursstraftaten (§§ 283 ff. StGB), die Straftaten gegen den Wettbewerb (§§ 298 ff.), Computersabotage. Das Wirtschaftsstrafrecht als sog. Nebenstrafrecht (wie z. B. das Aktienstrafrecht, §§ 399 ff. AktG) und seine kriminologischen Befunde werden im Rahmen des zeitlich möglichen einbezogen.
