Globales Lernen hat sich in bildungspolitischen Debatten als pädagogische Antwort auf die Globalisierung und die Zunahme weltweiter Verflechtungen etabliert. Themen wie Menschenrechte, nachhaltige Entwicklung und globale Gerechtigkeit sowie partizipative und projektorientierte Lernformen sind damit verbunden. Immer stärker finden sich auch postkoloniale Perspektiven in die Diskussion ein.
Das Ziel der Veranstaltung ist es, Einblicke in die Debatten über Globales Lernen sowie in die konkrete Bildungspraxis zu vermitteln. Im ersten Teil des Seminars werden wir uns mittels der gemeinsamen Lektüre grundlegender theoretischer Texte der Frage nähern, welche Ansätze im Rahmen von Debatten um Bildung für Nachhaltige Entwicklung und Globales Lernen vertreten werden und wie diese in die Bildungspraxis übersetzt werden bzw. wie aus der Bildungspraxis heraus eine theoretische Auseinandersetzung angestoßen wird.
Die beiden Modul-Veranstaltungen Globales Lernen in der Bildungspraxis (220150) & Praxisseminar Globales Lernen: Unterrichtsmaterialien ‚Wissen um globale Verflechtungen‘ (220152) sind aufeinander bezogen und sollten gemeinsam besucht werden.
