Gegenstand der vom vorangegangenen Semester fortgesetzten Veranstaltung ist der heliozentrische Umbruch in Astronomie und Kosmologie im 16. Jahrhundert sowie die damit verknüpften Umorientierungen in der Physik und der Naturlehre generell. Im Mittelpunkt steht die Rezeption der Copernicanischen Theorie bis zum Prozess gegen Galilei.
