381025 Theremine bauen und spielen (S) (SoSe 2009)

Das Theremin ist wohl das spektakulärste unter den elektronischen Musikinstrumenten. Man
spielt es ohne es zu berühren, indem man seine Hände in elektromagnetischen Feldern bewegt
und damit Tonhöhe und Dynamik steuert. Schillinger, Varese, Fuleihan, Martinu,
Schleiermacher u.v.a. haben für das Theremin komponiert. In den 50er Jahren wurde es
häufig in den Soundtracks von SciFi und Horrorfilmen eingesetzt. Für
nur ca. 30 Euro Materialkosten (Elektronik) kann auch der absolute
Elektroniklaie in diesem Semester ein ordentliches Anfängerinstrument zusammenlöten und
dabei allerhand erfahren über: Elektroakustik, elektronische Musik,
elektronische Musikinstrumente, Komponisten des 20.Jh ...
Die formalen 4 SWS reichen normalerweise nicht aus. TeilnehmerInnen
sollten sich auf einen exorbitanten Arbeitsaufwand einrichten -
können dann allerdings auch ein außergewöhnliches Resultat
erzielen.
Die Teilnehmerzahl ist leider begrenzt!
