In diesem Seminar werden wir erkunden, was das Judentum zur Zeit Jesu ausmachte. Wir werden erfahren, wie Jüdinnen und Juden ihre Religion praktizierten und was sie geglaubt haben. Auch werden wir uns mit den verschiedenen Formen des Judentums innerhalb und außerhalb Palästinas auseinandersetzen. Dabei wird sich diese Veranstaltung auch u.a. folgenden Fragen widmen: Wie "jüdisch" waren Jesus und Paulus? In welchem Verhältnis standen Judentum und Christentum zueinander? Aber auch aktuelle (schuldidaktische) Perspektiven werden behandelt: Wie soll über das Judentum heutzutage, angesichts des Holocausts, geredet werden? Wie kann im Religionsunterricht über das Judentum zur Zeit Jesu gesprochen werden? Welche heutige Relevanz hat die Erforschung des antiken Judentums?
