Eine wichtige Aufgabe der Bioinformatik ist die Erfassung und Analyse
von biologisch relevanten Daten. Hier fallen große Datenmengen an, die
eine computerunterstützte Verarbeitung nötig machen. Das Seminar soll
einen Einblick in die Vielfalt und Qualität der zu verarbeitenden
Daten, deren experimentelle Gewinnung und bioinformatische
Verarbeitung geben. Geplant sind Themen aus den Bereichen:- Sequenzierung
- Hybridisierung
- Expressionsanalyse
- 2D-Gele
- Messenspektrometrie
- Strukturbestimmung

Die Veranstaltung richtet sich an Studierende aller Studiengänge mit
bioinformatischem Anteil. Interessierte sollten die
Grundlagenvorlesung "Genetik" besucht haben.
