Der Text des Lektürekurses, der dem Grundkurs praktische Philosophie zugeordnet ist, ist die Nikomachische Ethik sowie das erste Buch der Politik des Aristoteles. Inhaltlich geht es in diesem Kurs darum, einige der Fragen, die für die Teilgebiete der praktischen Philosophie charakteristisch sind, in ihrer ersten systematischen Entwicklung kennenzulernen und ihre sachliche Verbindung wahrzunehmen. Methodisch soll daran zugleich die Fähigkeit geübt werden, ein verhältnismäßig umfangreiches und in vieler Hinsicht sehr fremdes philosophisches Buch sich zugänglich zu machen

Bibliography

Verschiedene Übersetzungen der Nikomachischen Ethik sind erhältlich, jede ist brauchbar. Ich ziehe die von O. Gigon vor, die bei dtv erschienen ist.
