Wie kann man sich der komplexesten Struktur im Universum wissenschaftlich nähern? Wo liegen die Stärken und Schwächen gängiger Methoden? Stehen analytischer und holistischer Ansatz unversöhnlich nebeneinander oder gibt es einen Mittelweg? In vitro- und in situ-Methoden, invasive und nicht-invasive Modelle psychatrischer Erkrankungen sowie reduktionistische und holistische Interpretationen werden in diesem Seminar gegeneinander gestellt. Grundlagen der Wissenschaftstheorie bilden dafür die Einbettung.
