Unter intensiver Einzelbetreuung in den Räumen der Biologischen Sammlung können sich Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene in die Bestimmung von Insekten, den Aufbau einer eigenen Sammlung oder die Bearbeitung von Bernsteinfossilien einarbeiten, schließlich auch ein kleines Forschungsprojekt selbständig bearbeiten. Themen können nach persönlicher Neigung ausgewählt werden. Vorschläge: Einarbeitung in die Systematik einer überschaubaren Insektenfamilie; ökologische Auswertung ganzjähriger Fallenserien aus Mitteleuropa oder dem Atlasgebirge Marokkos. Die Arbeiten können auch als Vorbereitung für eine Examensarbeit dienen
