'Cognitive Linguistics' is a term used by many approaches to the study of language and speech, from functional varieties of formal grammar, to psycholinguistics. The aim of the course is to provide an overview of the different approaches to language study which attempt to explain language in terms of human mental and neurological, and to investigate examples of language use on the basis of these approaches.

Qualifications: 3 credit points (attendance, active participation through web portfolio preparation) + grade (presentation with written version).
