"Kinder zu foltern ist moralisch verwerflich." Ist dieses moralische Urteil objektiv wahr? Oder drückt der Sprecher mit diesem Urteil aus, dass er persönlich das Foltern von Kindern verabscheut? Was genau ist der Status von moralischen Urteilen? Diese Frage zu beantworten ist eines der Hauptanliegen der Metaethik. In dieser Übung sollen metaethische Grundpositionen dazu - Naturalismus, Error theory, Intuitionismus, Emotivismus, Präskriptivismus - anhand von Texten ihrer Hauptvertreter und ihrer Kritiker diskutiert werden
