Seit Beginn der modernen Psychotherapie Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts gibt es immer wieder direkte und indirekte Bezüge zum Zen-Buddhismus und Taoismus (u.a. bei Jung, Fromm, Watzlawick, von Dürckheim und de Shazer). Ziel des Seminars ist, den zen-buddhistischen und taoistischen Einflüssen in der Psychotherapie nachzugehen und herauszuarbeiten, welche zum Tragen kommen. Dazu werden wir uns mit Schriften aus Psychoanalyse, Tiefenpsychologie, Hypnose, humanistischen Verfahren bis hin zur systemischen und lösungsfokussierten Therapie auseinandersetzen. Hinzu kommen zwei Ansätze, die sich direkt auf den Zen-Buddhismus beziehen (Initiatische Therapie, Morita-Therapie)
