Auf Exkursionen und an Hand von Präparaten, Bälgen, Federsammlungen, Schädeln, Eiern, Fotodokumenten und Tonbandaufnahmen werden Kenntnisse über die heimischen Vögel vermittelt einschließlich Details über Ökologie, Zugverhalten und wissenschaftlicher Beringung. Zusätzlicher Zeitaufwand zum Erreichen von Exkursionszielen muß eingeplant werden. Ein mindestens achtfach vergrößerndes Fernglas ist erforderlich. Leistungskontrolle: Protokolle.
