Die Schriften des Neuen Testaments wirken auf den ersten Blick wie Texte, die nicht nur von Männern verfaßt wurden, sondern in denen auch nur Männer eine Rolle spielen - neben Jesus die zwölf Apostel und die Jünger, Pharisäer und Zöllner, Könige und Prokuratoren u.a. Erst bei näherem Zusehen entdeckt man Spuren von Frauen. Frauen folgen Jesus als Jüngerinnen nach bzw. suchen seine helfende Nähe, Frauen aktivieren sich nach Ostern in der frühen Kirche.
Das Seminar hat zum Ziel, den literarischen Spuren von Frauen in den vier Evangelien, der Apostelgeschichte und in den Briefen nachzugehen und zu versuchen, aus den gewonnenen "Fragmenten" ein möglichst umfassendes Bild der Frau im 1. Jh nChr zu skizzieren.
