Seit mindestens einem Jahrzehnt gibt es von Neuseeland bis Deutschland einen weltweiten Reformtrend. Es wird versucht, angeblich bewährte Managementprinzipien aus Unternehmen in Verwaltungen und andere öffentliche und Non-Profit-Organisationen zu importieren. Die Reflexion dieser Reformtrends wird vor allem von der Betriebswirtschaftslehre und einer sich dieser gegenüber kritisch gebärdenden Politikwissenschaft getragen.
In diesem Seminar sollen Möglichkeiten einer Soziologisierung der Diskussion erörtert werden.
