In dieser Veranstaltung werden einige, schon im Grundfach kennen gelernte Tanzstile wie Folklore, Rock'n Roll, Jazztanz, Modern Dance, afrikanischer Tanz, Salsa, HipHop vertieft erarbeitet und in ihrem jeweiligen gesellschaftlichen und historischen Kontext betrachtet. Ein besonderes Augenmerk wird auf die Arbeits- und Erscheinungsformen des zeitgenössischen Tanzes gelegt wird. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt liegt in der eigenen Gestaltung von Tanzbewegungen in Improvisation und Komposition/Choreographie. Des weiteren werden übergeordnete Themen wie Kreativität und Ästhetische Erziehung sowie didaktische und methodische Aspekte behandelt.
