Building on the introductory lecture, the aim of this course is to enhance students' understanding of basic concepts, theories, methods and research findings in the area of attitudes and persuasion. A small-group format will alternate with brief presentations and plenary discussions of recent research articles. All presentations and discussions will be held in English, as a secondary aim of the course is to enhance the participants' understanding of English as well as their confidence in using the language in an academic setting. Depending on participants' needs, we may use supplementary teaching materials that specifically address the understanding of English-language research articles.
