In diesem Kurs wird die Anatomie und Morphologie ausgewählter Pflanzengruppen unserer Flora am Ende der Vegetationsperiode untersucht. Zum Kursinhalt gehört das Erkennen von Laub- und Nadelgehölzen an Merkmalen wie Knospen, Blattnarben, Rinde, Borle, Früchte. Der Lebenszyklus der Farne und Coniferen wird ebenso vorgestellt wie die Überwinterungsstrategien der Geophyten. Von allen Teilnehmer Innen wird ein Kurzreferat mit direktem Bezug zu den Arbeiten im Kurs erwartet. Die Resultate sollen didaktisch ansprechend aufgearbeitet und in Vitrinen oder in Form von Postern präsentiert werden.
Der Kurs ist besonders für LA-Studierende geeignet, da Artenkenntnisse vertieft und grundlegende lichtmikroskopische Techniken vermittelt werden, die auch in der Schule eingesetzt werden können
