Der Genetik-Club ist eine Veranstaltungsreihe, die StudentInnen mit Interesse an Fragen der Genetik, ihren Erkenntnissen und ihrem gesellschaftlichen Kontext offensteht. Von den Teilnehmern wird erwartet, daß sie sich aktiv an der Planung und Durchführung der Clubtreffen beteiligen. Aktivitäten des Clubs könnten sein:
- Präsentation genetischer Befunde und gentechnischer Verfahren
- Diskussion staatlicher Regulierung der Gentechnik in Deutschland und Europa.
- Organisation von genetischen Kolloquien mit auswärtigen Gästen
- Besuch von interessanten Diskussionsveranstaltungen und Tagungen
- Besuch von Biotechnologie- und Züchterfirmen [Lf: j; 50: j; Fs: n]
