Die Vorlesung stellt das Erkennen der zoologischen Diversität und ihre Anpassung an unterschiedliche Lebensräume in den Mittelpunkt. Sie begleitet die Übung "Spezielle Zoologie - Diversität" und vermittelt ein tieferes Verständnis für die Zusammenhänge zwischen Organisation, Lebensweise und Biologie der Tiere.
