Wie bei der im Wintersemester angebotenen Vorlesung "Methoden der Künstlichen Intelligenz" geht es auch hier um grundlegende Konzepte und Methoden für die Konstruktion intelligenter Agenten. In Ergänzung zu den "Methoden der KI" fokussiert diese Spezialvorlesung auf ausgewählte Themen der KI, die vertiefend dargestellt werden. So sind für dieses Semester die Gebiete Planen, maschinelles Lernen und Suche vorgesehen. Die Vorlesung orientiert sich unter anderem am Lehrbuch von Russell und Norvig. Falls die angekündigte Neuauflage rechtzeitig erscheint, werden gegebenfalls auch weitere aktuelle Themen der KI besprochen.
