Die Übung dient der begleitenden Diskussion des Praktikums Fermentationstechnik. Fermentationsstrategien sollen nach einem Literaturstudium diskutiert werden.
Erkenntnisse aus der Literatur und eigene Ergebnisse sollen in kurzen Referaten vorgestellt werden und dienen auch als Übung von Präsentationen.Die Veranstaltung wird als Spezialisierung des Studiengangs der Molekularen Biotechnologie angeboten und ist auch für Studierende der Naturwissenschaftlichen Informatik (2. Hauptfach Biotechnologie), der Biochemie, Biologie und Chemie, sowie für Diplomanden und Doktoranden zugänglich. Eine Teilnahme ohne gleichzeitig das Praktikum zu absolvieren ist möglich. Eine vorherige Teilnahme an der Vorlesung Fermentationstechnik ist sehr zu empfehlen.
