Medien vermitteln ihre Botschaften durch Bilder, (durch Ton) und durch Schrift. Die Anforderungen an die Mediengestaltung sind dabei nicht nur dem wandelnden Zeitgeist unterworfen, auch der technische Wandel stellt permanent neue Herausforderungen.
In dieser praxisorientierten Werkstatt erweitern Studierende ihre methodischen Fähigkeiten im gestalterischen Umgang mit digitalen Bildern und Texten. Anhand ausgewählter Übungen und konkreter Praxissituationen in verschiedenen Bereichen (u.a. Fotografieren mit DSLR-Kamera, Postproduktion am Computer mit Adobe Photoshop und InDesign) lernen sie grundlegende Methoden und Verfahren der Gestaltung kennen und wenden sie auf ein eigenes Thema an. Dabei geht es vor allem um einen professionalisierten Blick für das wirkungsvolle Zusammenspiel von Bild, Text, Farbe und Form(at).
