Der Kurs gliedert sich in zwei Teile:
I. Gutes wissenschaftliches Schreiben am Beispiel von Versuchsprotokollen
Anhand von konkreten Schreibübungen werden Grundlagen wissenschaftlichen Schreibens vermittelt sowie die Fähigkeiten wissenschaftlichen Schreibens in der Biologie gefestigt und verbessert. Themen: Wie ist ein Versuchsprotokoll aufgebaut? Welches Format benutzt man für Texte in der Biologie? Wo finde ich Literatur und wie lese ich effizient wissenschaftliche Texte? Wie entwickle ich Hypothesen und beantworte mit Daten meine Fragestellungen? Wie schreibe ich in eigenen Worten wissenschaftlich?
II. Effektive Lern- und Arbeitstechniken in Studium und Forschung
Hier werden wissenschaftlich fundierte Strategien für konzentriertes Lernen und Arbeiten geübt. Themen: Wie macht man gute Notizen? Wie bekommt man gelerntes Material in das Langzeitgedächtnis? Welche Werkzeuge kann man für ein erfolgreiches Zeit- und Wissensmanagement nutzen? Wie bereite ich mich effektiv auf experimentelles Arbeiten vor? Wie bereite ich Gelerntes nach?
Die Teilnahme an diesem Kurs ist offen für alle Studierende der Biologie. Es ist jedoch sinnvoll, wenn Sie parallel an einem Schreibprojekt (z.B. Versuchsprotokolle aus Basis- oder Aufbaumodulen) arbeiten, welches Sie im Kurs in individuellen Übungen nutzen werden. Sollten Sie keines haben, wenden Sie sich bitte vorab an die Kursleitenden.
Bei den zwei Terminen handelt es sich um Alternativtermine. Die endgültige Aufteilung geschieht am ersten Kurstag.
