In diesem Seminar wollen wir uns mit den Klassikern der Bioinformatik
befassen: Grundlegende Algorithmen und Verfahren, von denen jeder von
uns schon einmal gehört hat oder gehört haben sollte.
Wir haben uns auf die Suche nach den bedeutendsten, berühmtesten,
teilweise historischen Veröffentlichungen gemacht, die oft zitiert aber
nur selten wirklich gelesen werden.
Im Seminar soll nicht nur der Inhalt der Paper besprochen, sondern auch
das Drumherum beleuchtet werden: Gibt es Anekdoten zu diesem Artikel
oder den Autoren? Wie ist er geschichtlich einzuordnen? Warum und wofür
ist der Inhalt bedeutsam? ...
