Dieser Kurs bietet eine umfassende Einführung in die Anwendungsfelder und -bezüge der Migrationssoziologie mit besonderem Fokus auf praktischen Fähigkeiten und Wissen, das in der kommunalen Integrationsarbeit benötigt wird. Im Schulterschluss von Soziologie und Sozialer Arbeit lernen Kursteilnehmende integrationspolitische Herausforderungen sowie handlungstheoretische Grundlagen der Einzelfall- und Netzwerkarbeit als Interventionsformen kennen. Dazu diskutieren sie konkrete Herausforderungen der Gestaltung gesamtgesellschaftlicher Integration. Der Kurs zielt darauf ab, die Teilnehmenden zu befähigen, migrationssoziologisches Wissen zu erwerben und in Fachlichkeit konkreter Handlungen zu übertragen.
