The seminar "Dealing with Uncertainty" deals with the question of how social groups deal with times and situations in which they experience high levels of uncertainty.
The Corona crisis, inflation, racism and denigration lead people and groups into a situation where they lack knowledge and information and/or cannot make plans for the future. What do they do then? How do they experience uncertainty?
Seminar participants identify and share insights on these questions by reading literature, but also by researching their own topics. They can choose their own phenomena of uncertainty and do research on them.
It will be conducted in English, as it is part of the development of uncertainty studies and with guidance from Dr. Sandal. Inputs, discussions and performance can also take place in German in parts.
