In diesem sechswöchigen Praktikum bearbeiten die Teilnehmer ein eigenständiges Forschungsteilprojekt, das meist in laufende größere Forschungsaktivitäten der Arbeitsgruppe eingebunden ist. Die Inhalten variieren, sind aber in der Regel im Kontext Prozessentwicklung, Prozessoptimierung oder Prozesskontrolle angesiedelt. Die Ergebnisse der experimentellen Arbeit werden anschließend in einem Protokoll zusammengefasst und in einem Seminarvortrag im Rahmen der Veranstaltung 391014 vorgestellt und diskutiert.
Die praktischen Arbeiten werden im Laborbereich E0 durchgeführt.
