Chorarbeit stellt einen wichtigen außerunterrichtlichen Schwerpunkt für musiklehrende in der Schule dar. In diesem Seminar stehen die wichtigsten Aspekte von Kinder- und Jugendchorarbeit im Mittelpunkt. Es werden angemessene Einsingübungen und Warm-Ups vorgestellt und gemeinsam erprobt sowie geeignete Literatur erarbeitet. Grundlegende und erweiterte Techniken des Dirigierens und die Strukturierung einer Chorprobe werden durch praktische Übungen erlernt und vertieft.

2 LP werden für regelmäßige und aktive Teilnahme vergeben.
Ein weiterer LP kann durch eine Einzelleistung z. B. in Form von Übernahme einer Stimmbildungseinheit mit Einstudierung eines Kanons, Dirigat eines längeren Chorstücks oder Konzeption und Durchführung einer Probeneinheit erworben werden.
