Die Studierenden sollen die Arbeitsfelder Zellkultur und Produktgewinnung kennen lernen. Am Ende der Veranstaltung wird erwartet, dass Zellkulturproduktionsverfahren nachvollzogen werden können.
Die Studierenden sollen zudem Techniken für das experimentelle Arbeiten in Zellkulturlaboratorien erlernen.
Die theoretischen Grundlagen werden in der Vorlesung vermittelt und mittels einer Klausur abgeprüft. Die Anwendung dieses Grundlagenwissens in der experimentellen Praxis wird im Praktikum in Form eines Portfolios erarbeitet.Wichtige Information für Studentinnen:
Sofern eine Schwangerschaft bekannt wird, ist eine Arbeit in den Laboren nicht ohne Weiteres möglich. Hier steht moralisch und gesetzlich der Schutz des Ungeborenen im Vordergrund. Für das weitere Vorgehen bitte unverzüglich Kontakt aufnehmen mit dem Studiengangkoordinator Dominik Cholewa: mbt.techfak@uni-bielefeld.de. Zusammen mit dem Studiengangskoordinator werden dann diskret alle nötigen Vorkehrungen getroffen und alle Möglichkeiten für das Studium mit Kind belichtet.
Diese Information erfolgt auch jährlich bei den Sicherheitsunterweisungen der Labore im Fachbereich.
