Die Veranstaltung wird als Präsenzveranstaltung durchgeführt.

Beginn der Veranstaltung: DO. 10.10.2024 mit einer Vorstellung und Übersicht der Themen.

Die Vorlesung behandelt im Detail die Methoden zur Identifizierung, Quantifizierung und Charakterisierung von Makromolekülen (besonders Peptide/Proteine) und Metaboliten. Insbesondere werden Methoden zur Proteinsequenzierung besprochen. Die Leistungsfähigkeit moderner Analysetechniken wie Massenspektrometrie, Kernresonanzspektroskopie, Röntgenstrukturanalyse, Elektronenmikroskopie etc. werden besprochen und der Aufbau der Geräte und Apparate erläutert. Zusammenhänge in der Proteomanalyse (Proteomics), Metabolomanalyse (Metabolomics) und Lipidanalyse (Lipidomics) werden besprochen.

Im Seminar werden aktuelle Messmethoden und neue Erkenntnisse von den Studierenden an Beispielen vorgestellt.
