Das Ziel des Seminars ist, psychologische Konzepte zu den Themen Motivation und Emotion kennen zu lernen und auf den Schulalltag anwenden zu können. Dazu werden zentrale Konzepte erarbeitet, vorgestellt und vertieft. Wann immer möglich, sollen Theorien der Motivation und Emotion sowohl auf die Situation von Lernenden, als auch auf die Situation von Lehrerinnen und Lehrern angewendet werden.

Die Seminarplatzvergabe erfolgt (wie auch in den anderen Psychologie-Biwi-Veranstaltungen) in der ersten Sitzung.

Voraussetzung für die Teilnahme ist die Übernahme und das erfolgreiche Halten eines Referates sowie die Bereitschaft, sich innerhalb des Seminars aktiv an Gruppenarbeiten und Diskussionen zu beteiligen. Weitere/ abweichende Anforderungen werden in der ersten Sitzung bekannt gegeben.
