Im Mittelpunkt des Seminars stehen unterschiedliche Motivationstheorien, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf der pädagogisch-psychologischen Sichtweise liegt. Damit liegt nicht nur eine Konzentration auf Lernmotivation nahe, sondern auch die Frage, ob und wie sich Motivation etwa in der Schule fördern ließe. Das Seminar orientiert sich dabei (lose) an der Prüfungsliteratur für das Fach Pädagogische Psychologie, richtet sich aber an Studierende des BA-Studienganges Nebenfach Erziehungswissenschaft.
