Das Thema Literatur und Mehrsprachigkeit wird in vielen poesiologischen Stellungnahmen von Autorinnen und Autoren der Gegenwart intensiv reflektiert und auch von der Literaturwissenschaft seit einigen Jahren verstärkt in den Blick genommen. Im Seminar wollen wir uns einen ersten typologischen Überblick über das weite Feld ,Literatur und Mehrsprachigkeit‘ verschaffen: In welcher Weise lässt sich eigentlich von Einsprachigkeit und Mehrsprachigkeit sprechen? Welche Formen literarischer Mehrsprachigkeit gibt es? Welche gattungs- und medienspezifischen Verfahren literarischer Mehrsprachigkeit lassen sich unterscheiden? Ausschnitthaft vergegenwärtigen wollen wir uns das breite Spektrum mehrsprachiger Literatur an ausgewählten Texten von der Frühen Neuzeit bis zur Gegenwart.
