Die Intention des Vorkurses ist, die aus dem Schulstoff
bekannten mathematischen Methoden und Konzepte auf eine
gemeinsame Grundlage zu stellen, auf typische Problemstellungen
aus der Physik anzuwenden, und in täglich begleitenden
Übungsstunden viel Gelegenheit zum Üben und Fragen zu bieten.Ganz nebenbei lernt man so auch die Denk- und Arbeitsweise an
der Universität kennen, was den Einstieg ins erste Studiensemester
spürbar erleichtert.Inhaltlich werden folgende Themenbereiche aus der Analysis und
linearen Algebra behandelt: Zahlen, Folgen und Reihen; Funktionen,
Ableitungen, Taylor-Entwicklungen; Integration (in R); komplexe Zahlen,
komplexe Funktionen; Vektoren, Felder, Matrizen
